Standaard Bedrijfsindeling — the Dutch national activity classification, aligned with NACE.

Standaard Bedrijfsindeling (SBI) is the national activity classification used in NL. Businesses receive one or more SBI codes when they register, and those codes drive tax, statistical and regulatory reporting.

SBI is aligned with NACE Rev. 2.1 at the 4-digit class level. National extensions add extra digits to describe activities in more detail without breaking comparability with the rest of the EU.
