Classificazione delle attività economiche — the Italian national activity classification, aligned with NACE.

Classificazione delle attività economiche (ATECO) is the national activity classification used in IT. Businesses receive one or more ATECO codes when they register, and those codes drive tax, statistical and regulatory reporting.

ATECO is aligned with NACE Rev. 2.1 at the 4-digit class level. National extensions add extra digits to describe activities in more detail without breaking comparability with the rest of the EU.
