Clasificación Nacional de Actividades Económicas — the Spanish national activity classification, aligned with NACE.

Clasificación Nacional de Actividades Económicas (CNAE) is the national activity classification used in ES. Businesses receive one or more CNAE codes when they register, and those codes drive tax, statistical and regulatory reporting.

CNAE is aligned with NACE Rev. 2.1 at the 4-digit class level. National extensions add extra digits to describe activities in more detail without breaking comparability with the rest of the EU.
