NACENAICS

NACE ↔ NAICS crosswalk

Map any NACE Rev. 2.1 class to its closest NAICS 2022 equivalent (or the other way around). Built for teams that need to compare EU and North American industry data.

NACE (EU) and NAICS (US, Canada, Mexico) both classify economic activities but use different structures. Eurostat and the U.S. Census Bureau publish official concordance tables that link them at the class / national-industry level.

This crosswalk gives the most likely NAICS 6-digit industries for any NACE class — and the NACE class for any NAICS code. Because the systems don't align 1-to-1, expect multiple matches for some codes.

Use it for market sizing, cross-border benchmarking or feeding your data warehouse with harmonised industry codes.

FAQ

Is there a 1-to-1 mapping between NACE and NAICS?
No. The two systems differ in scope and granularity, so many NACE classes map to several NAICS industries and vice versa. NACEBridge shows the closest official matches.
Which NAICS version does this use?
NAICS 2022 (the current US Census release). NACE side is Rev. 2.1 (2025).
