INS

Institutul Național de Statistică (Romania) is the national statistical authority of RO. It compiles, publishes and maintains official statistics — including the country's implementation of the EU NACE Rev. 2.1 activity classification.

INS publishes CAEN — the national activity classification(s) aligned with NACE and used in business registries, tax filings and official statistics.

NACEBridge reads authoritative definitions from Eurostat and each national statistical institute, then aligns them at the 4-digit NACE class so users can move between systems without losing meaning.
