Compreende as atividades de: produção fotográfica comercial e de consumo (fotografias escolares, de casamentos, publicidade, fotografia para revistas, etc.); tratamento da película (revelação, impressão e ampliação de negativos ou filmes efetuados por terceiros, montagem de diapositivos, etc.); tratamento digital de fotografia; restauro e cópia de fotografias antigas. Inclui produção de fotografia aérea, subaquática, reportagens de vídeo de eventos (casamentos, encontros, etc.), atividades dos repórteres fotográficos independentes.
