CAEN Rev. 3 ist die in Romania verwendete Tätigkeitsklassifikation. CAE Rev 4 ist das entsprechende System in Portugal. Beide sind nationale Umsetzungen der EU NACE Rev 2.1, sodass jede 5-stellige Unterklasse eines Systems auf eine gemeinsame 4-stellige EU-Klasse zurückgeführt und von dort in die Unterklassen des anderen Landes übertragen werden kann.
