Compreende as atividades de: abate de árvores e operações complementares (ex: cortes de ramos em troncos abatidos, toragem, descasque, extração - rechega e transporte próprio no interior da mata - e carregamento); produção de lenha e produção não industrial de carvão vegetal; recolha de resíduos da exploração florestal, por exemplo, mato, cepos, aparas de madeira proveniente da exploração florestal, outros resíduos florestais para fins energéticos.

NACE-BEL 2025 ist die in Belgium verwendete Tätigkeitsklassifikation. CAE Rev 4 ist das entsprechende System in Portugal. Beide sind nationale Umsetzungen der EU NACE Rev 2.1, sodass jede 5-stellige Unterklasse eines Systems auf eine gemeinsame 4-stellige EU-Klasse zurückgeführt und von dort in die Unterklassen des anderen Landes übertragen werden kann.
